ESPC Conservation Pillar Update

October 27, 2021

The Forest Service released an environmental assessment on October 19th, with only 30 days for public to submit comments by November 18. If you are interested in submitting comments, you can review the documents HERE and contact any of the three district rangers.

For quick review and perhaps best conversation with district rangers, start with the Alternative 4 Maps and Appendix B.  The Forest Service is also holding three virtual meetings during the first week of November, each starting at 6 pm:

You may also reach out to any of these organizations:  Greater Yellowstone Coalition (jdesarro@greateryellowstone.org); Sierra Club (kaycee.prevedel@sierraclub.org); Wyoming Wilderness Association (swalker@wildwyo.org); Trout Unlimited (liz.rose@tu.org); Wyoming Backcountry Horsemen (thepacker@tctwest.net); Wilderness Society (dan_smitherman@tws.org); Winter Wildlands Alliance (dpage@winterwildlands.org).
