On July 4, 2026, the United State of America celebrates 250 years since signing the Declaration of Independence. It opens with "We the People" demonstrating that our government derives its authority from the consent of the governed. Over ten years later, representatives of the thirteen colonies produce the USA Constitution which established a functional framework of government to secure the unalienable rights and independence declared in 1776. The effort was a mixture of creativity and practicality anchored in guiding principles designed for continuous political thought and adaptation of generations to come while aiming for the promise of equality and other natural rights. The framework within the USA Constitution also was designed to prevent authoritarianism and other forms of tyranny.
