Executive Director
Jenny DeSarro works with the Board of Directors to set strategic direction and ensures that the organization achieves its mission by guiding civic engagement education programming, state policy research and advocacy, as well as overseeing daily operations and cultivating internal systems.
Jenny brings leadership, innovation, and lessons learned from over 25 years of working in the nonprofit sector to the Equality State Policy Center. She holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Cross-Cultural Fluency and Systems Design and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies. A Wyoming native, Jenny has also lived in Montana, Utah, and Colorado, augmenting her perspective on issues and solutions around the West.

Lily Leman is a current undergraduate student at the University of Wyoming, majoring in Spanish and History. As a past attendee of ESPC's SHAPE Wyoming training and having cast her first ballot in her home state of Wyoming, Lily is excited to build upon decades of educating and advocating for our civic rights - holding our government accountable to all Wyomingites.
During Lily’s internship with ESPC, she will research and compile policy briefs and fact sheets ahead of the 2026 State Legislative Session. She will make policy information and decisions incredibly digestible and accessible to everyone, as those before her have done.

Kady Uhler is a current undergraduate student at the University of Wyoming. Kady strives to connect with Wyomingites across the state through visual content development, inspiring the people of Wyoming to become more informed and active in local politics. Local politics run the world, after all.
As a student, Kady is still carving her path through the world and is very excited to have ESPC on that path. You will find her work on the ESPC Instagram page once her upcoming interviews with ESPC staff, supporters, and fellow college students in Laramie are ready to post!
