Legislative Accountability Project

The People’s Review Legislative Accountability Project (LAP) Report has evolved over the years from an inch-thick printed book of all votes recorded over the course of an entire session into today’s abridged vote-in-time snapshot along with a page of intel for each legislator.

Yet, it is still designed as a tool for constituents to check that their elected legislators are representing their interests. A well-functioning representative democracy requires elected officials to genuinely listen to the voices of their constituents and respond with thoughtful, principled action.
