Turnout on a state level was much lower in the 2024 Primary Election than usual - tied for the fourth lowest since we've started keeping track.

Our historically underattended election, the Primary Election, determines almost all of our County and Legislative seats.

Your County Clerk may post sample ballots in the newspaper and their office. The Secretary of State will publish proposed constitutional amendments and other ballot propositions on their website and in newspapers.
Organizations, like Vote411, Ballotpedia, and WYVote will create sample ballots. Every single position on your ballot makes important decisions that influence your daily life. Acquaint yourself with candidates as much as possible - attend forums, reach out, and participate.
